    Job Description:

    CJI School District is seeking applicants for Concession Stand Manager.

    Background check required.

    Essential Functions:

    Oversees the operation of the concession stands for all extracurricular home events.

    Makes recommendations and determines which items to sell and at what price.

    Makes recommendations for the updating and purchasing of new equipment.

    Creates the schedule to meet staffing needs based on a projected number of visitors to the venue.

    Training to include: opening and closing procedures; food-preparation techniques to ensure food safety; cleaning responsibilities; operating the cash register, if the stand has one; and what to do in case of an emergency.

    Cleaning of the stand represents a key responsibility for the manager.

    The manager is responsible for charting sales each day and keeping track of revenues and expenses, depositing money, and guaranteeing that the stand has enough cash and coins to open each day.

    Desired Minimum Qualifications

    Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operation and procedures manuals.

    Ability to calculate figures and discounts.

    Ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, with students, parents, and staff.

    Ability to comply with Board policies, rules and regulations, and directives.
