Arrive Alive

On Feb 16, we are hosting a hands-on demo from ArriveAliveTour.org. They are bringing a car into our shop that is connected to a Virtual Reality system. Students get in the car and virtually drive. It is set up to show them first hand the effects of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. When they get out of the car, local law enforcement will "pull them over" and issue a fake citation, explaining the legal ramifications of driving under the influence.

This event is being sponsored by Megan Hodges of Northern Plains Insurance. We will do this for students 7-12th grade. This was the only date available.

If you are a homeschool with students in grade 7-12 and want to participate, call the HS office at 759-5108 to get on our list. Once we set up the schedule we'll call you to tell you what time to show up.
