Big week ahead for CJI Wrestling! The Fort Benton Wrestling Mixer is Friday (14th) and is followed by the CMR Holiday Classic in Great Falls (15th and 16th).
The Speech and Drama Team will be on the road again to compete in the Fort Benton Invitational Speech and Drama meet at Fort Benton High School on December 9th.
The CJI Wrestling Team will be traveling to Glasgow High School to participate in the Scottie Wrestling Invitational, December 8th and 9th.
A representative of Montana State University - Bozeman will visit CJI on Tuesday, December 5th at 1:00PM. See Mrs. Nelson for more information.

Jr High Basketball games this week: Friday (17th), the teams travel to Big Sandy to play Big Sandy (Girls: 10:30AM, Boys: 12:00PM) and North Star (Girls: 1:30PM, Boys: 3:00PM). Saturday (18th), CJI will host Box Elder (Girls: 9:00AM, Boys: 10:30AM) and Hays/LP (Girls: 3:00PM, Boys: 4:30PM).

The Northern 6-Man Football All-Conference Selections were released today with CJI placing 4 on the list. Ben Syrbe was named All-Conference and Adam Grammar, Nate Nelson, and Pat Dahlin were All-Conference and All-State selections.
The CJI Speech & Drama Team made the long trip to Glasgow today to compete at the Glasgow Invitational. We only had three students compete today but all of them performed strongly.
Junior Davey Erickson claimed her second title of the young season in Original Oratory with her speech about the importance of libraries.
Sophomore Saige Bachteler made the top eight once again in Dramatic Oral Interpretation.
Junior Harman Maan just missed finals in Informative Speaking but performed well in her rounds.
The CJI Speech Team is hosting the CJI Speech Meet, Saturday, November 11th. Judges are needed (lunch and treats provided) for 9:00AM, 10:30AM, 12:00PM, and 1:30PM rounds. 7C District Volleyball Tournament

Sports this week. The CJI Lady Hawks open the 7C District Volleyball Tournament versus Hays-Lodgepole at 10:00AM, Thursday, October 26th, at Fort Benton High School. The winner of that contest will advance to the 6:00PM game against either Highwood or Centerville. The Jr High Basketball teams travel to Chinook on Friday (27th) to play Big Sandy (Girls @ 1:30PM/Boys@3:00PM) and Chinook (Girls @ 4:30PM, Boys @ 6:00 PM). On Saturday (28th), CJI will host North Star (Girls @9:00AM./ Boys @ 10:30AM) and Chinook (Girls @ 3:00PM/Boys @ 4:30PM). At 1:00PM, the CJI Football team will host Denton-Geyser-Stanford-Geraldine in a first round State 6-Man playoff game. Go Hawks!
MEA Conference will be held the 19-20 of October. No school on those days and no early release on Wednesday the 18th.
